AT VIDA CHRISTIAN CHURCH
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Vida Christian Church began with a simple vision and a heart to reach people with the love of Jesus Christ. In 1990, Pastors Javier and Rossy Muñoz started a small Bible study in a garage in Perris, California. What began as a small gathering of believers quickly grew into a thriving church family, and in 1993 the church was officially established under the name Familia Nuevo Nacimiento.
A Growing Ministry
As God continued to bless the ministry, the church experienced steady growth and entered a new season under the name Templo del Evangelio. Through every stage of its journey, the church remained committed to preaching the Gospel, serving families, and helping people develop a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
A New Name, The Same Mission
With a renewed vision to reach future generations and make an even greater impact in the community, the church embraced the name Vida Christian Church. The name Vida—meaning Life—captures the heart of who we are: a church where people can experience the new life found in Jesus Christ. Everything we do is centered on our mission to love God, love people, and make disciples, fulfilling both the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
Leadership Across Generations
Today, Vida Christian Church continues to be led by our founding Senior Pastors, Javier and Rossy Muñoz, whose faithful leadership has shaped the church for more than three decades. Alongside them, the English Ministry is led by Pastors Joel and Yobana Muñoz, continuing the legacy of faith into the next generation. Together, they serve one church with one vision, reaching people of all ages and backgrounds with the hope of the Gospel.
Building for the Future
As God continues to open new doors, Vida Christian Church is entering an exciting new chapter with the construction of a new sanctuary. Designed to accommodate our growing church family and expand ministry opportunities, this new building represents our commitment to future generations and our faith in God's continued provision. While our facilities continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to create a place where people can know God, worship Him, grow in their faith, and serve others with purpose.
